Prior to a16z, Kristina was a Partner at Bessemer for seven years. When not working, Kristina is trying to keep up with her three spunky kiddos - Ari, Leo and Lily! She loves a great cup of coffee, celebrating Halloween all year long (thanks to her kids!), and a lazy day at the beach.
Before Chemistry, Mark was a Partner at Index Ventures where he led early stage investments in software and fintech businesses for nearly a decade. Prior to Index Ventures, Mark was one of the first business hires at Dropbox and helped the company navigate its hyper growth phase. Mark graduated from Brown University with a degree in International Relations. When he’s not working, he’s either spending time with his family in Berkeley, surfing at Ocean Beach, or playing chess.
Prior to Chemistry, Ethan was a Managing Partner at Bessemer Venture Partners, where he worked for 16 years primarily focused on investments in developer platforms, data infrastructure, gaming, and companies that democratize development for knowledge workers worldwide. Before Bessemer, Ethan worked at Linden Lab - the company that created Second Life - and The Wall Street Journal. When not chasing the latest developer technologies, Ethan can be found chasing a kid around the house, yard, mountains, or beach. He hasn’t worn a pair of jeans or drank a cup of coffee in over 20 years.
Before joining Chemistry, Bohan was an Entrepreneur in Residence at Bain Capital Ventures. Previously, he was the second PM at Tome and PM of Risk and Growth at Lyft. He has been an active angel investor - both personally and as a scout. Bohan spends his free time producing a podcast on history, philosophy, and religion called "Deus Ex Machina with Bohan Lou".
Prior to Chemistry, Jamie was the CMO at Fuel Capital. Before getting into venture, Jamie was the CMO at Taskrabbit. Outside of work, Jamie can be found at her kids’ sporting events, a pilates megaformer class or on the running trails.
